1. Grievances
/ Advisory Committee in the Central Bureau of Narcotics provides a platform
for the opium poppy cultivators, the public representatives, the village
Lambardars and the Department to discuss grievances of the opium poppy
cultivators. The composition of the Committee is as follows - |

The
meeting of the Committee is held once in four months. |

2. Representations
from the opium poppy cultivators are also received in the office of the
District Opium Office, Deputy Narcotics Commissioner and Narcotics
Commissioner. |

3. Suggestions
/ views of the local MLAs and
M.Ps of the opium growing
areas are also examined for appropriate action. |
