Permits and Authorization

 

1.                  Licence for Opium Poppy cultivation- under Rule 8 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Rule, 1985.

2.                  Licence for manufacture of synthetic narcotic drugs- under Rule 37 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Rule, 1985.

3.                  Authorisation for Export of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances- under Rule 58 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Rule, 1985.

4.                  Certificate for import of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances- under Rule 55 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Rule, 1985.

5.                  No Objection Certificate for export / import of specified precursor chemicals.

6.                  Registration of import contracts for import of poppy seeds in accordance with the notification issued by the Department of Commerce- under Public Notice 27 (RE-2000)/ 1997-2002 dated 1st August, 2000.

7.                  Authorization letter for allotment of medicinal opium to State Excise authorities from Government Opium and Alkaloid Factories for registered opium addicts- under section 71 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 and Chapter VII A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Rules, 1985.
