The departmental website i.e. cbn.nic.in is functional, which provides most of the information relevant to the public. The outline of the important items is as under: -

1. Brief introduction to the Department.

2. Organisational set up of the Department.

3. Brief account of the various operations of superintendence of cultivation, the procedures followed and important notifications.

5. Enforcement and related data about; offences and punishments under NDPS, small and commercial quantities of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and reward to informers and officers for seizures of prominent Narcotic drugs.

6. List of Narcotics Drugs, Psychotrophic substance and precursor chemicals which require Permission / Authorisation / NOC from the Narcotics Commissioner for its export / import.

7. Formats of applications form and background information for issue of such Permissions / Authorisation / NOCs and procedure for processing thereof.

8. List of synthetic Narcotics Drugs for which license is issued by the Narcotics Commissioner.

9. Directory of the senior officers with their telephone numbers.

10. All the information the Department is required to publish under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
