Certificates for Narcotics Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and No Objection
Certificates for Import/ Export of Precursor Chemicals on security papers
effective from 01- November-2010

Ministry of Finance, Department of
Revenue vide Gazette Notification S.O. 1661(E) dated 13th July 2010 has
amended Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Rules, 1985 thereby
amending/ introducing processing fee for issue of following -
-
Manufacturing license/ renewal of manufacturing license for manufacture of
synthetic narcotic drugs.

Fee
has been revised from Rupees Fifty to Rupees Five thousand (Rs.5000/-)
per application.

For issuance of import certificate for import of narcotic drugs and
psychotropic substances; and
-
Fee
has been introduced as Rupees One thousand (Rs.1000/-) per application.
-
For issuance of export authorization for export of narcotic drugs and
psychotropic substances.
-
Fee
has been introduced as Rupees One thousand (Rs.1000/-) per application.
This shall come into force on the date of publication of the official
Gazette notification.

Allocation of quotas of Narcotic Drugs to
Companies will be done by the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Gwalior in
place of DCGI/ State Drug Controllers as per the Ministry of Finance’s
